Electronic Everywhere Explorations
Electronic Everywhere Explorations
A documentation of student projects from the class Electronic Everywhere Explorations can be found on the Digital Media website.
Abstract

First Sketches__NOTOC__

- Keep it stupid. Simple.
- Reflect the data delusion.

Tagging real places with virtual content like photos, graphics, text, video and much more. And just like an explorer would go into a new country you can start in your own city by exploring what people think and what they want to share with others. From love confessions digitally craved into trees to past events recorded with your mobile phone.
## Transfer Virtual Objects (formally known as Modern Gallery) ## There are peoples all over the world creating awesome digital 3d content. Displaying this kind of art in a social “real” environment where you can walk around - just like in a real gallery. Using your phone to also interact with the objects. Or showing projects to clients where they can interact with your model rather than starring on a flat screen and view some static prerendered images. Or using it to create you own living environment, when you just moved to a new place and you want to place you furniture and stuff to see how and where it best fits. Rather then move the heavy couch physicly…
## Real World Navigation ## Taking the ordinary TomTom and Maps System one step further and generating a different kind of navigation system. Heads-Up-Display like information visualization and data showcasing. For example if you are walking around your school building and you get directions to your classroom or further informations about different areas.
